Dear friend, On behalf of Chabad of Sugar Land, we wish you a Shana Tova U'Metuka, a good and sweet year filled with abundant blessings! Rosh Hashanah this year carries a special meaning, as it coincides with Shabbat. As the Rebbe articulated in a 1972 pastoral letter addressed "To the Sons and Daughters of Our People Israel, Everywhere, G-d bless you all!", when Rosh Hashanah falls out on Shabbat, the whole year is infused with the "toil of Shabbat", not a weekday toil of mundane affairs, but an elevated toil devoted to matters of Torah and Mitzvot. May we indeed experience a year of meaningful growth and much success in all areas, and may we merit the fulfillment of the verse: "Be good, O L-rd, to the good and to the upright in their hearts."
